SEAKR Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer to lead DSP concepts, RF communications, and high-speed I/O development.

The role involves algorithm prototyping in MATLAB or similar languages, hardware co-simulation, and Verilog/VHDL implementation for FPGA or ASIC. The candidate will oversee system architecture, algorithm exploration, and trade studies, and will mentor DSP engineers through all design phases.

Qualifications

• Requires BSEE with at least 10 years of experience; MSEE preferred.
• Expertise in Digital Signal Processing concepts including RF communications and high-speed I/O.
• Experience implementing DSP algorithms in hardware; MATLAB or similar; hardware co-simulation, C/C++ modeling.
• FPGA or ASIC implementation in Verilog or VHDL; ability to support all design phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture, algorithm exploration and trade studies.
• Conduct design reviews and lead lab verification and delivery.
• Mentor DSP engineers and implementation team; provide oversight.

Senior Digital Signal Processing (DSP) Engineer

• Full-time
• Compensation: USD 130000 - USD 185000 - yearly

Candidate will have thorough knowledge of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts including RF Comms, Synchronization, and high speed ADC and DAC systems.

Candidate will have experience implementing DSP algorithms in hardware including:

• Algorithm prototyping in MATLAB or similar language
• Determining precision and dynamic range
• Algorithm validation using hardware co-simulation or C/C++ bit true modeling
• FPGA or ASIC implementation in Verilog or VHDL

Candidate will have a demonstrated ability to support a project through all aspects of the design phase including system architecture, algorithm exploration and trade studies, design reviews, implementation, lab verification, and delivery.

Candidate will have experience mentoring and providing oversight of DSP Engineers and/or implementation team.

Clear written and verbal communication skills are required to support design team and customer meetings.

BSEE with at least 10years of experience is required, MSEE preferred.

Active TS security clearance is a plus.

Compensation: Base payrange is $130,000-195,000 depending on qualifications.SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan.
