Job summary

The Cato Institute is seeking a Senior Digital Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of digital products, AI, design, and data visualization projects from intake to launch. You will own planning, sequencing, and cross-team coordination, with a strong focus on scope, timelines, and stakeholder management.

This hybrid Washington, DC role requires regular in-office collaboration; you will work with internal teams and external partners, apply AI-powered tools to streamline reporting, and

Qualifications

• Significant, proven experience managing digital projects independently.
• Experience in an agency or logistics/operations environment is preferred.
• Comfort operating within technical platforms to support content and tech teams.
• Strong process orientation with openness to adopting new AI-powered tools and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver multiple concurrent digital products end-to-end.
• Independently manage stakeholder relationships and scope.
• Coordinate with design, web development, data visualization, and partners.
• Apply AI tools to streamline reporting, tracking, and resourcing visibility.
• Maintain current project documentation and report progress to leadership.
• Communicate status with the Chief-of-Staff regularly.
• Co-own WorkFlo and expand its capabilities with design and dev teams.
• Serve as a power user of the Cato Digital Platform CMS OS and content ops.
