Job description

Federato is on a mission to defend the right to efficient, equitable insurance for all. We enable insurers to provide affordable coverage to people and organizations facing the issues of today - the climate crisis, cyber-attacks, social inflation, etc. Our vision is understood and well funded by those behind Salesforce, Veeva, Zoom, Box, etc.

Federato’s AI/ML-driven platform leverages deep reinforcement learning to help insurance companies optimize the portfolio of risks they insure, allowing them to continue to provide fair and equitable pricing in difficult-to-price areas. Our category-defining ‘RiskOps’ solution drives better underwriting decisions by operationalizing underutilized data investments and surfacing real-time risk and portfolio insights. We focus on putting insurance underwriters back in the driver’s seat, helping them meet their goals while providing an important service to society.

We're looking for a strategic and results-driven Senior Digital Marketing Manager to lead our digital programs across paid, organic, and owned channels. This role will be responsible for the strategy and execution across key channels – including paid search, SEO, website conversion, email and lifecycle programs – with a focus on driving pipeline, increasing conversion, and supporting demand generation efforts across new business and upsell.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across paid, organic, and owned channels to drive awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
  • Performance & Optimization: Track and optimize campaign performance based on key metrics such as conversion rate, CPC, CPL, CTR, ROAS, and pipeline contribution.
  • Paid Media Management: Lead the paid advertising strategy across SEM, paid social, display, and retargeting. Manage agency and contractor relationships to ensure execution is aligned with goals.
  • Email & Lifecycle Campaigns: Oversee email and lifecycle marketing programs to engage and nurture leads through the funnel with timely, relevant outreach.
  • SEO & Website: Partner with content and web teams to improve site visibility, drive qualified organic traffic, and support conversion across key pages.
  • Account-Based Marketing: Cross functional alignment with ABM, SDR, Collaborate with SDRs and sales to plan and execute digital ABM campaigns. Identify target accounts, align on messaging, and activate multi-channel strategies to move accounts through the funnel.

Role Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, demand generation, or related fields; B2B SaaS and startup experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing high-performing digital campaigns that drive measurable results across the funnel.
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing fundamentals, with deep expertise in at least two of the following: paid media, email/lifecycle marketing, SEO, ABM, CRO, marketing analytics, or marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), as well as analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience managing vendors, budgets, and cross-functional teams to drive results.
  • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven mindset; comfortable building forecasts, tracking KPIs, and reporting to leadership.

Here at Federato, your capabilities are important, but culture fit is quintessential. We move fast, are eager to listen to our users, take a first principles approach to solving problems, and value learning and the ability to change our minds. Most importantly, we're here to have fun. Our ability to make a difference starts with our people. We would love to work with you!

Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way.
