Theo is a fast-growing performance media agency headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We help local and national brands across a wide range of industries advance their marketing practices through methodical, creative, and technology-driven marketing activations.

Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 / year

Key Responsibilities

  1. Cross-functional, digital marketing team management
    • Understand agency services and key responsibilities for cross-functional teams - including performance marketing, analytics, creative, content, UX and dev.
    • Develop data-driven, integrated marketing strategies across all teams to support client objectives.
    • Work with analytics and performance marketing teams to track budgets and develop performance insights and recommendations for clients.
    • Lead internal team huddles, facilitating strategic conversations and team collaboration.
    • Identify any potential team issues and ensure expectations are clear, realistic, and communicated.
  2. Client relationship management:
    • Act as the main point of contact and develop strong client relationships with proactive and timely communication.
    • Lead weekly client status meetings.
    • Understand client business and marketing objectives and ensure the client's needs and requirements are represented during strategy and planning formation.
    • Act as a liaison between clients and the agency; communicate client expectations and make sure they are defined and documented to internal teams.
  3. Project management
    • Understand and manage client scope and billing process.
    • Delegate across teams for projects, working with internal teams to create clear project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
    • Manage multiple client accounts and projects via project management software (Asana) and oversee all final deliverables.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  1. 2-4 years of professional, account management experience in a digital marketing-related industry, preferably at an agency.
  2. Digital marketing and lead generation expertise.
  3. Experience with digital marketing channels including search, social media and other lead generation tactics.
  4. Ability to track KPIs and analyze performance to provide actionable insights.
  5. Familiarity with tools like Google Ads, Google Analytics and Facebook Ads Manager and analytics tools is a plus.
  6. Ability to lead large, cross functional teams and manage integrated marketing strategies.
  7. Excellent client-relationship building and communication skills.
  8. Strong organizational skills and experience.
  9. Management experience is a plus.
  10. Ability to interface with c-suite and executive clients and to translate technical concepts into client-friendly language.
