Job summary

Accenture is seeking a hands-on Technical Architect for our Supply Chain & Engineering practice in the US. You will bridge IT and OT across ERP, MES, SCADA, PLCs, historian systems and lead architecture design that works on brownfield plant floors.

You will translate business needs into scalable solutions, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and drive implementation from design to live production with strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 8+ years working in or with manufacturing environments with plant floor exposure.
• 5+ years designing or delivering integrated cloud and edge platform architectures.
• Hands-on experience deploying AWS, Azure, or GCP solutions in industrial contexts.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' current manufacturing technology landscapes and define target state IT/OT architectures.
• Design platform architectures across ISA 95 levels from shop floor to enterprise, including edge, on premise and cloud components.
• Build digital manufacturing roadmaps grounded in feasibility and production constraints.
• Translate plant floor needs into production-ready designs for engineering, IT and business stakeholders.
• Lead delivery teams through full lifecycle implementation from requirements to hypercare in live production.
• Serve as technical authority on engagements, guiding vendor selection and build vs. buy decisions.
