Job summary

St Louis Public Library is seeking an Outreach Specialist to deliver digital and information literacy to seniors and to support the Library’s Excel Adult Online High School program. You will engage with seniors at residential facilities and community centers, helping them become proficient with mobile and digital tools while exploring the Library’s resources.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or two years related library, teaching or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication, writing, and speaking skills.
• Personal vehicle for outreach use.

Responsibilities

• Provide digital literacy services to seniors at outreach locations.
• Participate in community outreach events to promote the library and its resources.
• Assist with the Excel Online High School program: processing applications, inquiries, interviews, scholarships, monitoring progress.
