Job summary

Datrose is seeking a Senior Digital Hardware Designer for a long-term contract in Scottsdale, AZ. The project is with Defense-Aerospace, offering an hourly rate up to $92/hr (W2, non-benefited).

Key duties include hardware design leadership, signal integrity analysis, and mentoring junior engineers. DoD Secret clearance is preferred at hire.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
• Clearance: DoD Secret security clearance preferred at time of hire.

Required Skills:

• Experience with schematic capture
• Extensive experience designing multi-layer Printer Circuit Boards with controlled impedance layers and blind micro-vias
• Able to analyze and test for signal integrity, crosstalk, etc.
• Familiar with several families of Micro Processors, Micro Controllers, FPGAs and System-on-Chips
• Demonstrates initiative on assignments, exercises strong independent judgment
• Able to technically lead/mentor less senior engineers

Desired Skills:

• Preferred experience with Mentor design tools
• High Reliability or Space experience
• Experience with Worst Case Analysis, Stress Analysis

Required Education and Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
