Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Senior Associate, Digital Governance Management to join our Ignition Tax Product practice. You will help govern tax technology implementations, ensure compliance, and align initiatives with regulatory standards.

You will lead small to mid-size projects, coordinate stakeholders, analyze changes to tax processes, and mentor junior colleagues while upholding KPMG’s professional environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of governance and compliance experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum three years of equivalent governance/compliance experience; large professional services preferred.
• Working knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks; certifications like PMP, ISO, SOC, DCAM, or CPA are a plus.
• Ability to organize, analyze, and present complex information concisely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support tax technology governance by ensuring implementations align with compliance requirements and regulatory standards.
• Analyze the impact of organizational and stakeholder changes on tax processes, workflows, and technology operations.
• Apply governance frameworks and best practices to support technology strategy, projects, and operational initiatives.
• Lead small to medium-sized projects, including stakeholder communication, data analysis, workplan development, and milestone management.
• Facilitate meetings, manage project risks and issues, and drive timely resolution to achieve business outcomes.
• Mentor junior colleagues and promote effective project delivery practices while upholding KPMG’s professional environment.
