Job Description

IronGate Cybersecurity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital Forensics Analyst to join our Professional Services Team. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity expert passionate about cyber defense and capable of handling complex digital forensic challenges. The successful candidate will lead investigations, mentor junior analysts, and develop strategies to mitigate cyber incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and conduct digital forensic investigations, including ransomware, BEC, intrusions, breaches, and malware analysis.
2. Use and oversee forensic tools (Axiom, EnCase, X-Ways, open source tools).
3. Develop and implement forensic strategies and best practices.
4. Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency.
5. Prepare detailed reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
6. Mentor and train junior analysts.
7. Communicate findings to stakeholders, breach counsel, clients, and management.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
2. Over 5 years of experience in digital forensics, incident response, or cybersecurity, with leadership in investigations.
3. Deep knowledge of cyber threats, forensic principles, and legal considerations.
4. Proficiency with forensic tools, especially CrowdStrike Falcon.
5. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
6. Leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Certifications such as EnCE, GCFE, GCFA, CCFP, CEH, CISSP.
2. Extensive experience in digital forensics or incident response.
3. Experience mentoring or leading teams.
