Job summary

The One 23 Group is seeking a Technical Director – Digital Engineering to lead and grow advanced engineering programs across DoD, IC, DHS, and Federal Civilian agencies. You will guide multidisciplinary teams delivering Digital Engineering, M&S, software engineering, cloud modernization, DevSecOps, data analytics, and AI-enabled mission capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in a technical field.
8+ years leading technical teams for DoD/IC/DHS or Federal Civilian customers.
Experience delivering enterprise software, Digital Engineering, M&S, DevSecOps, cloud modernization, systems engineering, or AI-enabled solutions.
Strong understanding of Agile software development and systems engineering.
Experience engaging with government customers and executives.
Excellent communication; ability to lead and present.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams for Digital Engineering, Modeling & Simulation, software development, cloud engineering, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, data analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
Mentor technical staff and foster a high-performing engineering culture focused on quality and mission success.
Guide technical decision-making to align with customer objectives, security, and industry best practices.
Promote standards, documentation, configuration management, and continuous process improvement.
Partner with Program Managers to execute complex federal technology programs.
Provide technical oversight through planning, architecture, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
Translate customer requirements into practical, scalable technical solutions.
Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for successful delivery.
Coordinate activities across internal teams, subcontractors, and customer stakeholders.
Design and implement secure, scalable enterprise solutions using cloud-native architectures and APIs.
Guide integration of Modeling & Simulation, Digital Engineering, AI analytics, and visualization into solutions.
Evaluate emerging tech and recommend approaches to improve mission effectiveness.
Ensure solutions align with cybersecurity, Zero Trust, and federal compliance.
