American Heart Association is seeking a Sr Digital Developer to design, develop, and modify web applications supporting digital fundraising assets. You will gather requirements, test, and remediate defects throughout the development lifecycle for end users.

The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, hands-on development, and delivering robust software while maintaining high-quality standards and excellent communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient with React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript.
• Experience with ticketing systems; troubleshooting web defects and in-browser debugging.
• Experience with VSTS/Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools.
• Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Solution oriented with strong problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain web applications using React, Ionic React, Nest.js and Typescript; familiarity with .NET and Web API is a plus.
• Develop software artifacts based on requirements and architecture.
• Test software in unit and integration tests; support UAT and defect remediation.
• Handle tickets and defects; triage, escalate and communicate status to customers.
• Clarify and refine business requirements with stakeholders.
• Provide estimations based on requirements and specs.
• Provide coordination, production and project support.
