Job summary

Abbott’s Chicago/Waukegan area seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead a portfolio of digital and self-service delivery initiatives. You will guide cross-functional teams across global sites, champion an agile delivery culture, and align program goals with strategic business outcomes.

You will manage discovery through deployment, coach PMs and developers, and drive continuous improvement to maximize customer value and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and large-scale program delivery experience.
• Experience with software development practices (Agile/Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing multi-project programs in a global matrix organization.
• Familiarity with strategic sourcing partners and enterprise IT delivery.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and plan IT projects aligned with Abbott's digital and self-service product strategy.
• Lead and mentor Agile teams, PMs, product owners, and developers.
• Deliver a portfolio of digital, self-service, and customer experience programs.
• Establish frameworks to track milestones, risks, and budgets.
• Ensure on-time, within-budget delivery with continuous improvement.
