Job summary

PLUS Communications, a full-service firm in Arlington, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Associate for its fast-growing digital practice to help advocate campaigns and organizations win, every day.

You will draft compelling social content, write blogs, create editorial calendars, and collaborate with design and advertising teams to deliver targeted content. The position is full-time with a hybrid schedule in-office/remote and a $62,000 salary plus potential year-end bonus.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, public affairs, public relations and/or political campaign work.
• Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to deliver error-free short form and long form content tailored to client needs.
• Experience with organic social media management (using tools like Hootsuite and Sprout Social), digital strategy (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) and WordPress website content management.

Responsibilities

• Preparing editorial calendars factoring cultural/current events and linking to client issues.
• Drafting compelling social media content for major networks like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
• Drafting blog posts and longer-form content with appropriate voice and tone.
• Proof-reading team work to ensure 100% accuracy.
• Collaborating with Graphic Design to provide collateral (logos, one-pagers, social graphics).
• Coordinating with Digital Advertising to submit plan requests, traffic campaigns and client reports.
