Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Senior Digital Asset Advisory Compliance Officer within U.S. Bank Compliance to shape the firm’s digital asset strategy and ensure regulatory integrity.

This Executive Director role leads policy development, risk oversight, and a robust compliance program across divisions, balancing innovation with controls. The role requires deep regulatory knowledge, OCC experience, and strong collaboration with legal, risk, and business teams to support responsibly advancing

Qualifications

• Experience developing compliance policies for digital assets.
• Familiarity with OCC letters IL 1170/1183/1184 and custody considerations.
• Knowledge of 12 CFR Part 9 custody design and OCC Custody Handbook.
• Ability to read regulations and translate them into controls and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior compliance and risk coverage for U.S. Banks digital asset business.
• Monitor and advise on evolving U.S. regulatory environment for digital assets.
• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, monitoring, testing and training.
• Coordinate with Morgan Stanley business lines and risk teams.
• Lead cross-divisional collaboration on digital asset initiatives and impacts.
• Support other traditional compliance activities related to digital assets.
