Job summary

Clear Street is seeking an experienced AML Officer to lead our digital asset AML program, overseeing KYC/KYB/KYT onboarding and monitoring, and managing SAR determinations. The role requires deep blockchain analytics expertise, including on-chain data interpretation and Chainalysis proficiency.

The candidate will drive program ownership in a global, multi‑jurisdictional environment, partnering with Onboarding, Sales, and Legal to ensure scalable, compliant client processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of AML compliance experience focused on digital assets/VASPs.
• Hands-on expertise with Chainalysis products (KYT and Reactor) including implementation and rule-writing.
• Deep understanding of BSA/FinCEN OFAC FATF guidance for digital assets.
• Experience conducting complex digital asset transaction investigations and drafting SARs.
• Ability to build or enhance AML programs with policy and procedure development.

Responsibilities

• Design and continuously improve KYC/KYB/KYT frameworks for digital assets.
• Lead end-to-end transaction investigations and SAR determinations.
• Manage case workflows with SLAs, documentation standards, and quality controls.
• Calibrate Chainalysis risk scoring and alerts; integrate outputs with operations.
• Interface with law enforcement and regulators as needed.
