Job summary

Lightmatter is hiring a Sr. Mixed-Signal Digital Architect to lead the digital architecture for the Passage product, interfacing with architecture, chip-design, and software teams.

You will define the digital block specifications enabling high-speed AMS and photonic devices and work with vendors and customers to shape the roadmap. You will report to the Chief Scientist and collaborate with digital, analog, photonic, and software teams to deliver groundbreaking technology.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in electrical or computer engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of power-efficient digital design flow for high-speed AMS electronics.
• Experience with photonic circuits and high-speed digital interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Be the digital architecture owner of Lightmatter’s Passage product across architecture, chip-design, and software teams.
• Define architecture for digital circuits enabling AMS and photonic devices; collaborate with RTL/DV and firmware teams.
• Validate designs against simulations and drive design and verification methodologies with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare architectural specifications and customer-facing datasheets and reference designs.
