Job summary

Lightmatter is seeking a Principal Digital Architect to define the architecture of high-speed photonic AMS digital circuits and interfaces with firmware/software. The selected candidate will own the digital architecture from concept to production, collaborating with vendors and customers, and shaping product roadmaps.

Reporting to the Chief Scientist, you will work with digital, analog, photonic and software teams to enable the AMS/photonic devices and ensure scalable verification and successful

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of power-efficient digital design flow for high-speed AMS electronics
• Proven track record of delivering high-volume silicon products
• Familiarity with digital circuit design in high-speed analog/photonic links
• Strong problem solving with non-obvious challenges
• Proven customer communication with timely responses

Responsibilities

• Own the digital architecture for Lightmatter’s Passage product.
• Lead from concept through high-volume production with program management collaboration.
• Collaborate with top-tier semiconductor customers throughout product development.
• Architect and specify system-level digital designs integrating AMS and photonic circuits.
• Develop and align product roadmaps with product teams and validation groups.
• Author and validate architectural specifications and mitigation strategies.
