Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive analytics architecture, data platforms, and AI-enabled solutions for enterprise-scale needs in the United States. The role emphasizes translating business requirements into scalable technical designs and coordinating with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

Candidates should have hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, AWS, and modern cloud ecosystems, plus strong communication and leadership

Qualifications

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale analytics, data, application, or platform solutions.
• Translate business requirements into practical technical designs and solution recommendations.
• Understanding of application and data architecture, system integrations, and cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture principles and solution delivery methodologies.
• Working knowledge of analytics platforms, data architecture, ML concepts, and Generative AI technologies.
• Understanding of data integration, ETL processes, APIs, and modern cloud ecosystems.
• Experience supporting analytics and AI-enabled business solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of the Global Parts Pricing technology roadmap.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and architecture recommendations.
• Collaborate with business partners and Caterpillar IT to evaluate technology options.
• Design and support data, analytics, application, automation, integration, reporting, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Develop Proofs of Concept for emerging technologies and innovative approaches.
• Support integration of machine learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics into business processes.
• Improve data accessibility, reporting, and decision support capabilities.
• Identify automation and AI opportunities to improve efficiency and customer value.
• Partner with delivery teams during solution implementation and project execution.
• Provide technical guidance during development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Evaluate system performance and recommend enhancements and optimization.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges across applications, integrations, and analytics platforms.
• Promote architecture best practices, security standards, and governance requirements.
• Partner with business leaders, Caterpillar IT, analytics teams, and project stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate alignment between business priorities and technical capabilities.
• Support strategic initiatives through architecture recommendations and technical leadership.
