Job summary

Ascend Learning, LLC is seeking a Digital Analytics & Tracking Specialist to own the web data ecosystem across Marketing, IT, and Engineering. You will ensure accurate, ethical tracking from GTM/GA4 to BigQuery, serving as a data product owner for actionable insights.

You'll lead governance, build executive dashboards in Tableau, and collaborate with teams to optimize marketing spend while advancing privacy-first tracking practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in digital analytics, marketing technology, or web data engineering.
• Experience with GA4, GTM, SQL and modern data warehouses.
• Ability to translate data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end GTM/GA4 tracking and enterprise event schema.
• Maintain data layers and ensure high-integrity data flows.
• Collaborate with BI and Engineering to optimize data assets.
• Translate data into insights using SQL and visualization tools.
• Advise marketing and sales on website behavior and analytics.
• Validate tracking for A/B tests and report results.
• Audit tracking and attribution to reduce gaps in spend.
• Automate regular reports and real-time dashboards.
• Research emerging analytics tools and privacy-first methods.
• Partner with privacy/compliance to align tracking with regulations.
