Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Senior Diffusion Equipment Engineer to lead installation, qualification, and optimization of diffusion equipment in our new cleanroom.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and collaboration with multi-functional teams to improve process performance and yield. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in diffusion equipment ownership, a BS in engineering (MS welcome), and a willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience as Equipment Owner with Diffusion.
• BS or Masters in Engineering, equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years industry experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training.

Responsibilities

• Install and qualify diffusion equipment in new cleanroom.
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and data analysis to improve yield.
• Collaborate with process engineers to resolve production issues.
• Lead projects to close hardware gaps and improve equipment performance.
• Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies.
