Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a Senior Diffusion Process Engineer for the Boise, ID site. You will start up, develop, and optimize diffusion processes to improve product quality and yield while partnering with cross‑functional teams to resolve production challenges.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in diffusion process ownership, a engineering degree (BS/MS) or equivalent experience, and a willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of diffusion process experience as Process Owner.
• BS or MS in Engineering or equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years industry experience.
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes.
• Good understanding of Agentic AI or willingness to learn Agentic AI to help develop efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop, and optimize diffusion processes to improve product quality.
• Drive yield improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancements.
• Resolve manufacturing line problems with multi-functional teams.
• Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to fix production issues.
• Use project management skills to meet milestones closing gaps in yield, defects, production, and cost.
