onsemi is seeking a Sr. Diffusion Engineer to develop and support 300mm wafer manufacturing, collaborating with integration, process, and equipment teams to deliver high‑quality products globally.

You will own furnace processes, implement improvements, and design experiments to boost yield, throughput, and cost efficiency while solving time‑critical issues in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment. Strong data analysis and SPC are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or technical field; MS preferred.
• 7+ years in semiconductor processing or similar.
• Furnace process knowledge (ASM/TEL/Bruce).
• Experience in cross‑functional teams to hit metrics.
• FMEA risk analysis is a plus.
• Intermediate data analysis using Excel/JMP; strong PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent English, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Own furnace processes and equipment health in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
• Implement process improvements to boost yield, throughput and cost efficiency.
• Design experiments using engineering methods to improve yield and throughput.
• Resolve complex issues to maintain schedules in production or development.
• Make data‑driven decisions using SPC techniques.
• Provide daily disposition support for furnace processing.
