Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking an Experienced Diesel Technician in Florida to diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, electrical and hydraulic systems on a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles. Expect hands-on work with multiple OEM brands and occasional welding, with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Role requires 3–5 years of experience on medium duty class 8 vehicles; CDL Class B preferred or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, brake, suspension, electrical and hydraulic systems in heavy/light duty trucks.
• 3–5 years hands-on experience in medium duty class 8 vehicles; waste/recycling industry preferred.
• CDL Class B preferred or ability to obtain CDL; OSHA safety awareness and data tracking skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a fleet of refuse and recycling vehicles.
• Maintain and repair Mack, IHC, Autocar, Heil, McNeilus vehicles and equipment.
• Support coworkers in safe, efficient maintenance; complete all paperwork accurately.
