Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Orlando, FL is hiring a Senior Diesel Technician to perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs on heavy-duty vehicles. You will diagnose, repair, and optimize electrical and engine systems while coaching junior technicians in a safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical Certification or post-secondary degree preferred.
• Basic tools are required.
• Experience with mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines including maintenance and diagnostics.
• CDL Class A license preferred; other location-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard/preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electronic problems with diagnostic tools.
• Coach/mentor other technicians and support shop management.
• Operate shop computers and diagnostic equipment proficiently.
• Road test vehicles as necessary and perform remote triage as needed.

Education
