Campbell Supply in Newark, NJ is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy‑duty engines and driveline components using OEM software and Freightliner tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a diesel technician or equivalent.
• Advanced diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with ability to independently diagnose and repair engine and driveline systems.
• Experience using OEM diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
• Formal diesel training and OEM certifications preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, document, and repair engine, transmission, and major component fault codes using OEM software and laptops.
• Perform troubleshooting, service, and repair on diesel components and perform preventive maintenance.
• Attend OEM and dealer training programs as required.
• Mentor junior technicians and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
