Job summary

Monarch Power Supply is seeking a Diesel Technician II at our Houston Service Center. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial diesel engines and equipment both at our location and on customer sites within the Houston service area.

You will use OEM software for diagnostics, contribute to high-quality customer service, and train Apprentice and Diesel Technician I staff. A Perkins certification path is available through our training program, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

3–5 years of experience diagnosing and repairing industrial diesel engines in heavy equipment, construction, power generation, or similar industries.
Ability to obtain Perkins Certified Technician status within six months through Monarch's training program.
Strong understanding of common rail fuel systems, electronically controlled diesel engines, and diesel aftertreatment systems.
Experience using OEM diagnostic software such as Perkins EST, CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, John Deere Service Advisor, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on industrial diesel engines and engine-powered equipment at the Houston Service Location or customer sites.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair engines and engine systems.
Perform advanced electronic diagnostics using OEM software and service information.
