Job summary

Monarch Power Supply is seeking a Diesel Technician II for our Houston Service Center to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial diesel engines and related equipment. You will work at the service location and at customer sites across the Houston area, performing advanced electronic diagnostics and engine repairs.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of hands-on diesel experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to obtain Perkins certification within six months.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience diagnosing and repairing industrial diesel engines in heavy equipment or similar industries.
• Ability to obtain Perkins Certified Technician status within six months through manufacturer training.
• Strong understanding of common rail fuel systems, electronically controlled diesel engines, and diesel aftertreatment systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on industrial diesel engines and engine-powered equipment at the Houston Service Location and customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex engine systems and components.
• Use OEM diagnostic software for advanced electronic diagnostics and service information.
