Certified Fleet Services in Fort Myers, FL, is seeking a Master Diesel Technician to join our growth-driven team. You will diagnose, repair, and service heavy-duty diesel engines and drive trains, ensuring safety and quality on every job.

Qualifications

• GED or High School Diploma is required.
• Completion of a formal diesel technician training program is required.
• Dealership or Manufacturer Master Diesel Technician certification preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of diesel vehicle repair experience is required.
• Current valid driver’s license required; CDL preferred.
• Experience working with team members across multiple functional roles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel vehicles accurately within a reasonable time frame and with high quality of work.
• Assume personal responsibility for work quality, timeliness, and results.
• Create comprehensive work plans after assessing problems.
• Run diagnostics on diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, electronics, and drivetrains; interpret results to offer solutions.
• Thoroughly inspect all vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
• Repair or replace vehicle systems and components.
• Test drive repaired vehicles to gauge performance.
• Train shop team members in repair responsibilities.
• Assist in development of key practices and policies.
