Job summary

HTC Automotive Repair in Boulder, CO is seeking an experienced diesel technician to join our independent, owner-operated shop. You’ll diagnose and repair diesel vehicles up to Class 5, perform inspections and maintenance, and work with both individual and business customers.

We value strong problem-solving skills, pride in workmanship, and clear communication. Four years of hands-on experience and comfort with diagnostic tools are required; ASE certifications are welcome and encouraged.

Qualifications

At least four years of hands-on light-duty diesel repair experience.
Experience with diesel vehicles up to Class 5 and air brake systems is a plus.
Comfort using digital repair orders, shop software, diagnostic equipment, and service information.
Clear communication and care for the customer experience.
ASE certifications are welcome.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and perform mechanical repairs on diesel vehicles.
Work on engines, transmissions, fuel systems, electrical, brakes, and suspension.
Document findings and keep the team updated.
Follow torque and tightening procedures.
Keep bay, tools, and customer vehicles clean and organized.
Communicate changes and seek help when needed.
Own mistakes and help resolve them.
