Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Senior Level Diesel Technician in Milwaukee, WI. The role offers weekly pay, benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for merit increases and bonuses.

Expected duties include preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy- and medium-duty vehicles, with a 2:30 pm–11:00 pm shift and 2nd shift schedule. CDL A and ASE-related qualifications are favored.

Qualifications

• Requires three (3) years or more relevant work experience in mechanical repair of heavy/medium-duty equipment.
• Basic tools required and demonstrated aptitude in mechanical repair and diagnostics.
• CDL Class A license or ability to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties including standard and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electronic problems using diagnostic computer.
• Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision and mentor Tech 1/Tech 2 levels.
