Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic III in Longmont, CO for advanced shop duties including diesel and refrigeration repairs. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical/electrical issues, perform scheduled maintenance, and operate with safety and accuracy in documenting work.

The role requires teamwork, strong problem solving, and ability to learn necessary software quickly. The position offers benefits after 60 days, a 2nd shift schedule, and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade/tech schooling preferred.
• ASE certifications and Thermo King/J1200 training desired.
• 5+ years of fleet maintenance experience in tractor/trailer repair or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs on diesel and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, replace or rebuild refrigeration units and related systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on reefer units and tractors.
• Weld, fabricate and perform body/frame repairs as needed.
• Follow safety rules and complete paperwork and data entry accurately.
• Learn and be proficient in required software and communicate effectively.
