Job summary

Transport Refrigeration Services is seeking a skilled Fleet Service Technician to maintain trucks, trailers, and reefer units. You will diagnose and repair powertrains, brake systems, electrical issues, and APU units, ensuring safety and road readiness.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate with night-shift differential, and opportunities for ASE certification pay. Equal opportunity employer; no agencies.

Qualifications

• Clean, valid driver’s license required.
• Must possess or obtain a toolbox and required tools.
• 1+ year of shop experience doing DOT annual inspections or brakes, or tech school certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, trucks, refrigeration, and APU units.
• Troubleshoot and repair fuel, electrical, drivetrain, brake, suspension, and cooling systems.
• Replace brakes and handle trailer ABS systems.
• Complete FHWA inspections and tire services (mount, balance, repair).
• Repair trailer bodies, rear doors, and structural components.
• Handle interior/exterior trailer cleaning and APU service.
