Job summary

WM is seeking a Senior Diesel Mechanic in Marble Falls, TX. You’ll work Monday–Friday, 6:00am–3:30pm in a repair shop, with a focus on diesel fleet maintenance and safety.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of relevant experience, a valid license, and are legally eligible to work in the United States. Benefits include healthcare, tool and boot allowances, a sign-on bonus, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodations.
• Successfully complete pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
• Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts.
• Work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs).
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Perform safety checks and maintain a clean, safe work area.
• Document parts usage and repair times.
• Review and process Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA standards.
