Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Extensive knowledge of diesel engine components and systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic testing equipment.
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
• Track record of quality repairs and maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independence.
• Good communication and ability to explain technical issues.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy objects.
• Diploma or certificate in diesel engine repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to identify problems.
• Carry out routine maintenance and replace parts on heavy equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as pistons, bearings, gears, valves.
• Overhaul and test engines, transmissions, differentials.
• Inspect and maintain bulldozers, cranes, graders, excavators.
• Keep detailed maintenance records and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and stay updated on diesel tech.
