Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on diesel repair experience.
• Strong diesel diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, drivetrain.
• Hydraulic and construction/heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Familiar with scan tools, diagnostic software, multimeters.
• CA driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Diagnose fuel, cooling, intake, exhaust, and emissions systems.
• Repair electrical systems, wiring, sensors, and charging systems.
• Perform repairs to transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, steering, and suspension.
• Repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, hoses, and fittings.
• Use diagnostic software, scan tools, and testing equipment to identify problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and routine service.
• Test vehicles after repairs to ensure proper operation.
• Document repairs and parts used; maintain records.
• Keep tools and workspace clean, safe, and organized.
• Assist with facility and shop maintenance to support operations.
