Job summary

WM (Waste Management) in Marble Falls, TX is seeking a Senior Diesel Mechanic with strong diesel fleet maintenance skills. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:00am to 3:30pm, no weekends, and a starting hourly rate of $37–$41 depending on experience.

You'll inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension and brake systems across a range of vehicles, maintain safety standards, and participate in driver vehicle inspections.

Qualifications

• 4+ years diesel fleet experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems.
• Estimate time and material costs for repairs.
• Complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times.
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Review or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
