Pay Range: $37.22 - $41.35

Shift: Monday-Friday, 1pm-9:30pm, every 4th Saturday, 9am-2pm

Job Summary

Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and rebuilds major components on vehicles and equipment. Ensures accurate diagnosis and effective repair or replacement of components.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe work area per OSHA standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs.
• Diagnose and repair vehicles and equipment.
• Assist and guide other maintenance personnel.
• Use vehicle electronics to interpret failure modes.
• Estimate repair costs and requisition parts.
• Report if additional work is needed or repairs cannot be completed within SRTs.
• Inspect outside repairs and assess structural damage.
• Perform emergency breakdown service calls.
• Conduct safety checks and perform maintenance work as required.

Qualifications

Relevant work experience of four years; no formal education required. Valid driver’s license, clean record, ability to perform physical tasks, ability to pass drug and physical tests. Skills in vehicle repair, diagnosis, and use of maintenance software. Knowledge of tire maintenance may be required.

Work Environment

Shop setting; exposure to dirt, noise, weather, and occupational risks. Reasonable accommodations available.
