Job summary

H 2 O Innovation in Gulfport, Mississippi is seeking a Lead Diesel Mechanic to perform repairs and maintenance on diesel and gas engines, construction equipment, and related vehicles for public works clients.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of automotive/construction experience, a valid driver’s license, and ASE certification is desirable. Read schematics and use testing equipment; CDL is a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5–10 years experience in automotive/construction.
• Valid Mississippi driver's license; CDL desirable.
• A ASE certification in brakes, steering/suspension, engine performance, A/C or drive train is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Read operators, maintenance, and parts manuals to identify repair needs.
• Diagnose and repair diesel and gas engines and heavy construction equipment.
• Repair track assemblies and steering components on crawler equipment.
• Ensure OEM compliance and safe operation of all vehicles.
