Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 10+ years-experience maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing diesel equipment preferred.
• Proficient reading of electrical and hydraulic schematics and repair manuals.
• Strong problem solving and time management skills; able to work under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment and related components.
• Lead a team to provide mechanical services meeting customer needs and department goals.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate service employees; mentor others and promote safety.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs; manage parts orders and returns.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Communicate customer needs to shop management and provide quality control inspections.
