Job summary

Mill Rock Packaging in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Die Cutter Operator III to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and optimize die cutting equipment for high-quality folding carton products. You will work safely, optimize waste, and meet customer specs while reducing downtime.

As a senior operator, you will train and mentor teammates, support continuous improvement, and drive production excellence across the die cutting department. Weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Adept at working with hand tools and adjusting machine controls.
• Able to read and understand job instructions and specs.
• Excellent endurance to stand and move through long shifts.
• Team-oriented and able to accept feedback for growth.

Responsibilities

• Set up die cutter sections and align tooling.
• Execute make-ready production runs with proper cutting and registration.
• Perform quality checks per the quality system.
• Oversee Die Cutting Assistants and monitor throughput.
• Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping on die cutters.
• Identify deficiencies and assist in machine repairs.
• Review production progress against daily goals.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.
