Element Six, part of De Beers Group, seeks an outstanding scientist/engineer with strong optical and thermal expertise. Based on the US west coast, you will work from a site at least 3 days a week and travel to support US/international customers.

You will drive projects from concept to prototype, interfacing with engineering, operations and sales to deliver diamond-based solutions and commercially viable products.

Competenze

• Scientific or engineering background with optics or thermal management knowledge.
• Proven track record developing products and applications.
• Experience managing internal and external resources (design, analysis, fabrication).
• Minimum 3 years in a similar role; CAD/FEA/CFD desired.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.

Mansioni

• Develop deep technical understanding of synthetic diamond applications.
• Collaborate with customers and engineers to design prototypes and win contracts.
• Provide technical support to internal sales/marketing and customers.
• Track end-user requirements and evolving manufacturing processes.
• Manage documentation, BOMs, and routing spreadsheets for sales and prototyping.
