Job summary

Jabil is seeking a skilled Diagnostics professional responsible for maintaining and improving the Diagnostic department’s proficiencies and efficiency. This role involves diagnosing and repairing circuit boards at the component level, using test equipment, and interpreting schematics, BOMs, and EC documents.

You will support Test Engineering with data evaluation and may travel to customer sites for advanced issues.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with mathematical concepts including probability and statistical inference.
• Ability to present information to managers, clients and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
• Ability to operate a Windows PC and know basic software packages.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with company software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair at component level on electronic circuit boards with prior repair attempts.
• Proficiency with electronic test and measurement equipment.
• Understand and use assembly docs like Schematics, BOMs, ECs, visuals, and testing procedures.
• Assist Test Engineering with data evaluation to improve diagnosis efficiency.
• Frequent customer interface, including travel to sites for complex issues.
