Job summary

DOBBS TIRE & AUTO CENTERS is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to perform complex diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of vehicle systems. You will diagnose emission controls, electrical and computerized systems, drivability issues, transmissions, A/C, and four-wheel drive components, often independently at various locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive repair.
• Master Technician certification and ASE certifications in multiple systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately, efficiently, and with high quality.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and repair work on emission control, electrical and computerized systems, drivability issues, transmissions, A/C systems, and four-wheel drive components.
• Execute duties of Repair and Maintenance Technician roles as needed.
• Train and mentor service department team members on diagnostics and repairs.
• Assist management with estimates, parts requisition, shop organization, and supervising technicians.
• Safely operate all diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain shop efficiency.
