Job summary

Kaiser Permanente Beaverton is seeking a Diagnostic Ultrasound professional to provide high-quality ultrasound services in hospital and clinical settings, including OB/GYN, abdominal, and vascular studies. This role requires graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Ultrasonographer program or two years of ultrasound experience, plus RDMS certification (Abdomen or OB/GYN) and BLS within one month of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CAAHEP Accredited Ultrasonographer Program at time of hire or 2 yrs previous Ultrasound experience.
• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Certificate - Abdomen or OB-Gyn required at hire from ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support within 1 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures for age-appropriate patients including routine, emergent, portable and surgical examinations.
• Communicate with Radiologist.
• Assist patient/transport; exam review; file work; restocking supplies; quality assurance.
