Job summary

Fulgent Therapeutics LLC is seeking an experienced pathologist to perform diagnostic interpretation of surgical pathology, frozen section, and cytology samples, with electronic release of cases. The role includes gross examination and participation in quality control and infection control.

Candidates must be MD or DO with an unrestricted license in the state, be board-certified in anatomic or clinical pathology, and have at least three years of pathology experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with unrestricted license in the state where the lab is located.
• Board-certified in anatomic and/or clinical pathology or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of pathology experience in a community hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic interpretation of surgical pathology, frozen section pathology, and cytology material and electronically release cases.
• Perform gross examination of surgical tissues.
• Participate in laboratory quality control, quality assurance, and hospital infection control.
• Consult with clients regarding pathology findings and assist in clinical decision-making using laboratory data.
