Job summary

MetaPhase Consulting is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead platform engineering practices for secure, automated, and observable cloud environments in a Federal mission context. You will drive CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and security-focused delivery across hybrid setups, while mentoring teams and shaping engineering standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership and strong collaboration with software, SRE, and security teams to deliver high-assurance platforms for critical mission

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in DevOps, platform engineering, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead scalable CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Implement secure IaC and platform automation for hybrid environments.
• Embed Zero Trust, secrets mgmt, and policy checks into delivery workflows.
• Build self-service developer platforms and containerized runtimes.
• Establish observability with logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and SLOs.
• Lead incident-response improvements and root-cause analysis.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership for secure, reliable production systems.
