Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a senior infrastructure/DevOps expert to own production-grade Terraform across a multi-account AWS estate and to operate EKS clusters at scale. You will extend GitOps with ArgoCD and build resilient CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, while advancing security and compliance per NIST 800-53.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure / platform / DevOps with senior ownership of production systems.
• Deep Terraform experience: reusable modules, remote state, drift management.
• Strong AWS depth: VPC, IAM, EKS, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager.

Responsibilities

• Own Terraform for a multi-environment, multi-account AWS estate: modules, state, and reconciliation into code.
• Operate Amazon EKS clusters: networking, autoscaling, add-ons, workload identity, cluster lifecycle.
• Run and extend GitOps delivery model (ArgoCD) where a merge is a deployment and gates matter.
• Build and harden CI/CD pipelines in GitLab: security scanning, secrets detection, policy-as-code.
• Advance security and compliance posture against NIST 800-53 and least-privilege IAM.
• Help design migration to federal multi-account landing zone: identity, cross-account networking.
• Mentor mid and junior engineers and improve change control and evidence-based engineering.
