Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Senior DevSecOps leader to architect and drive secure CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure across programs. You will guide Agile teams, manage security and compliance, and partner with developers to deliver scalable deployments on cloud platforms such as AWS.

The role requires an active Top Secret clearance, strong leadership, and deep experience in DevSecOps tooling and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with extensive software development experience; advanced degrees valued.
• Proficiency with DevSecOps toolkits and automation to enable rapid capability maturation.
• Experience leading DevOps/DevSecOps teams in Agile environments.
• Security certifications (CISM, CISSP or similar) preferred within first 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and evolution of processes and infrastructure for rapid capability maturation and deployment.
• Integrate development pipelines with automation, TDD tools, and CI/CT frameworks.
• Define build, deployment, provisioning, and monitoring standards for programs.
• Ensure SCM, code quality, and test coverage in CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead Agile teams to automate deployment, monitoring, and infra management.
• Lead environment provisioning and automation scripts.
• Collaborate with vendors and IT for issue resolution.
• Oversee monitoring and support for all systems and infrastructure.
• Develop custom scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Design information and operational support systems.
• Install and maintain OS, app software, and management tools.
• Oversee security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
• Evaluate application performance and address bottlenecks with devs.
