Job summary

ENSCO, Inc. seeks a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to work with Government mission leaders and program teams delivering elements of a critical space mission capability. You will design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines, GitOps workflows, and Kubernetes environments across multiple security domains.

The role emphasizes collaboration with software, AI, cyber, and systems teams to ensure secure, scalable delivery. A DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or related technical field.
• 8+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, platform engineering, release engineering, or software delivery roles.
• Strong experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Git-based development workflows and source control management.
• Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations.
• Strong experience administering and troubleshooting Kubernetes-based environments.
• Understanding of software deployment lifecycles across multiple environments and security domains.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with software delivery automation, infrastructure automation, and deployment orchestration.
• Strong scripting or automation using Bash, Python, or Go.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; strong communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret security clearance; U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across environments.
• Develop automated deployment processes to improve reliability and velocity.
• Implement Git-based workflows and repository management.
• Deploy and optimize Kubernetes-based environments.
• Develop Helm charts and release configurations.
• Maintain software delivery toolchains for build, test, security, deployment.
• Coordinate deployments across dev, test, and production with security constraints.
• Collaborate with software and cyber teams to ensure security in pipelines.
• Support release packaging, validation, rollback, and readiness.
• Troubleshoot pipelines, deployments, infra, and integrations.
• Partner with developers, AI engineers, systems engineers, and ops for delivery.
