Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the AOUSC PACER Development team. You will develop, operate, and secure systems enabling public access to court electronic records, ensuring PCI and security standards compliance throughout the SDLC.

You will build secure, scalable software solutions using C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, JavaScript, CSS, and Linux. Collaboration in an Agile environment and documentation of artifacts are expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT system engineering, systems development, or related field experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
• Solid knowledge of security compliance and security controls.
• Proficient with C, Java, JSF, Tomcat, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, CSS, and/or Linux shell.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support PACER account registration and management systems and related services.
• Monitor PCI and security standards in secure development practices.
• Follow the full software development lifecycle across requirements, design, implement, test, and deploy.
• Develop secure web services using SOAP, REST, WSDL, XSD, XML, and JSON.
• Design scalable, efficient, and resilient software solutions; document use cases and test results.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (planning, retros, demos, standups) and collaborate across teams.
• Review requirements, system descriptions, and design artifacts; prepare documentation packages.
